Pavilion House

Hyderabad
2022 – wip
Sanjana Reddy
11,792 sq ft

On a rare flat site devoid of dimension or natural anchors, Pavilion House generates its own narrative. The home is designed as a series of pavilions, each encircling imagined landscapes of ponds, berms, and groves. Movement through the house follows meandering pathways that connect pavilions to gardens, pool, and central berms.

The pavilions are oriented around a central garden, whose earthworks lend depth and topography to the otherwise flat land. Roof shells rise like extensions of the garden berms, blending building and landscape into one continuous gesture. Architecture and earth are conceived simultaneously, embedding rituals of living into an invented terrain. Pavilion House is both home and landscape, each amplifying the other.
