A two floor weekend home for a professional athlete designed as an integrated work-play-live space. The private space on the first floor is designed as open plan, preserving the east-west cross view of sunrise and sunset into the surrounding foliage. Internally the sleeping and gathering spaces are partitioned by a playful timber joinery element. This element acts as double sided bookshelf and a revolving media unit.   The ground floor serves as a social play area. Large sliding doors open up the space to the adjoining pool and garden. An organic form pool meanders around the existing trees.
